The owner or his agent is responsible for ensuring that a quarantine space has been booked for the animal at the Animal Quarantine Centre. Weboccasioned during the removal, handling or treatment of an imported dog/cat under the directions of NParks/AVS or occurring during the period of detention in quarantine, shall be borne by the owner or agent. (xi) If the animal dies or is destroyed while under the custody of NParks/AVS, NParks/AVS will not be liable for any compensation.
