I can't reproduce this - for me inactive excludes internal ping packets - just tested with keepalive 3 180 and inactive 5. I see internal ping packets every 3 seconds, and soon got Inactivity timeout (--inactive), exiting. WebStarting from this week the OpenVPN client running on Windows 10 is constantly loosing connection. Constantly = every 3-4 minutes. The client doesn't disconnect, instead it says "Inactivity timeout (--ping-restart), restarting" and is bringing back the connection. Nothing was changed on the server side. The servers internet connection is stable.
